Establish a clear, human-centered, inclusive, and appropriate framework to welcome volunteers, communicate effectively with them, provide training and resources, prevent risks, and support the quality of their contributions.
This training explores volunteer management as a dynamic process based on communication, collaboration, and relationships.
Managing volunteers goes beyond supervision or control. It includes welcoming and onboarding, orientation, task training, providing tools and resources, ongoing learning, communication, support, feedback, quality monitoring, everyday recognition, maintaining connections with the internal team, and adapting management practices according to volunteers’ needs.
The training aims to strengthen volunteer autonomy, clarify roles and expectations, prevent confusion and tension, and contribute to a safe, effective, and engaging volunteer experience.
It also addresses the organization’s responsibilities toward volunteers: role clarity, risk prevention, safety, respect, prevention of tensions and psychological harassment, attention to psychosocial risks, accidents, mistakes, and situations where volunteers may exceed their scope of responsibility.
