Context
Camp LIFT is a registered charity whose mission is to support high-school students’ academic perseverance by offering awareness and education activities focused on healthy lifestyle habits. We provide services in 22 schools and reach more than 5,000 youth each year.
Camp LIFT will celebrate its 10th anniversary in 2026 and is entering a new stage of growth. We are preparing a fundraising benefit event on June 12, 2026 in our new facilities, with a fundraising goal of $100,000 — of which $45,000 has already been committed to date.
We have already built the core philanthropic materials:
- Structured sponsorship packages (levels, benefits, visibility, impact)
- Outreach email templates, pitch decks, PDF proposals
- A CRM in place to ensure follow-up
What we are missing now is a well-connected hunter/closer profile who can open doors, secure meetings, and close sponsorship agreements.
Mandate
- Build a targeted list of relevant companies (business community) and identify decision-makers: Executive Director/CEO, VP HR, VP Communications/Marketing, CSR/ESG leads, corporate foundations, etc.
- Collaborate with the leadership team to launch a structured prospecting approach (LinkedIn, emails, calls, referrals) to secure qualified meetings.
- If desired: support leadership in meetings with companies, understand their priorities, tailor the messaging (social impact, visibility, internal engagement), and present our ready-to-use offers.
Expected deliverables (to be adjusted based on your availability)
- A qualified list of target companies + decision-makers (with contact details / outreach channels).
- A clear pipeline in the CRM: opportunities, next actions, follow-up dates.
- Meetings held with target companies.
- Proposals sent and, ideally, confirmed commitments (sponsorships/donations).
(We are flexible on exact numbers: the goal is real traction and pipeline progression, not paperwork.)
Profile sought
Essentials
- Experience in business development / B2B consultative sales / partnerships (ideally full cycles: prospecting → meeting → proposal → closing).
- Demonstrated ability to open doors and secure meetings with decision-makers.
- Strong meeting skills: pitching, objection handling, negotiation, follow-up.
Assets
- Experience in sponsorships (events, visibility, brand activation).
- Network in the business community (depending on your region).
- Familiarity with the nonprofit sector (difference between donation vs. sponsorship, commitments, recognition, renewals).
What we offer
- A structured organization: offers, tools, content, and CRM already in place.
- A concrete, mobilizing cause: supporting youth in developing healthy habits, autonomy, and perseverance.
- A high-leverage role: your contribution can directly accelerate fundraising and Camp LIFT’s long-term sustainability.
- A responsive team available to support you, provide quick validation, and facilitate introductions as needed.
Logistics
- Suggested duration: 8 to 12 weeks (or until June 12, 2026 depending on availability)
- Time commitment: 2 to 4 hours/week (flexible) or intensive sprints
- Format: hybrid (virtual + meetings as needed)
To apply
Please share:
- A brief summary of your experience in sales/partnerships/sponsorships
- A concrete example (even brief) of: how you prospect, how you secure meetings, how you close
- Your approximate availability and your region/network
