Find your Board 2026 - for candidates

Find your Board 2026 - for candidates

The VBM is proud to invite you to Find Your Board, the must-attend networking event dedicated to nonprofit governance.

Continuing the legacy of Concertation Montréal (CMTL), Find Your Board brings together Montreal-based organizations and individuals who wish to get actively involved on a board of directors.

This evening is designed to foster targeted connections between organizations seeking new expertise and candidates from diverse backgrounds who are ready to contribute to a nonprofit’s mission.

About this edition
In a context of transition, this edition will take place in a more intimate format than previous ones, with a smaller number of participants.

No virtual platform will be used to facilitate connections; before the event, you will receive the list of expected organizations, along with a description of their mission and the board member profiles they are seeking, if these have been defined in advance.

Given the limited number of spots available, priority will be given to individuals who are actively seeking to get involved on a board of directors.
If your approach is more exploratory, we invite you to stay informed about our upcoming activities by registering for a free VBM membership, so that you can be notified of our governance initiatives.

Information session
An information session will take place on Wednesday, April 15, from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
This meeting will help you better understand how the evening will unfold and how to make the most of your participation. Please reserve this time slot now.

The session will be held in French. For any request for information in English, please write to benevolatdaffaires@cabm.net.

For any questions
Please contact Stéphanie Lécole, Manager of Business, Skills-Based and Governance Volunteering, at benevolatdaffaires@cabm.net, or by phone at (514) 842-3351 ext. 234.
