Context of the mandate

PAQ is hosting an International Inuit Day celebration honouring Inuit cultures and traditions. The event will bring community members together for performances, activities and lunch. Volunteers will help things run smoothly and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Location: 169 rue de la Gauchtiere Est (in Chinatown)
Time: November 7, from 9:30am to 4pm

Tasks

• Prepare the space and set up decorations.

• Arrange tables, chairs and materials.

• Welcome participants and help them find their way.

• Support the team during performances, activities and lunch.

• Keep the spaces clean and organized.

• Help take down decorations, put away materials and clean up after the event.

Desired qualifications

• Bilingual in French and English.

• Reliable, punctual and able to work as part of a team.

• Demonstrates a welcoming and respectful attitude toward community members and Inuit cultures.

• Comfortable with practical tasks and follow the instructions of the person supervising the event.

One-day commitment, on November 7
