• Villa Missionnaire Chrétienne AInés Notre mission est de soutenir les personnes en situation de vulnérabilité en répondant à leurs besoins essentiels. L’organisme souhaite notamment mettre en place un service d’hébergement gratuit pour les personnes aînées en situation d’itinérance, offrir une aide alimentaire aux personnes et aux familles du quartier en proposant des repas quotidiens, ainsi que créer un centre d’hébergement temporaire pour accueillir les personnes sinistrées à la suite de catastrophes naturelles. Our mission is to establish free housing for homeless seniors, to provide assistance to the hungry, and, among other things, to set up an emergency shelter to temporarily house disaster victims in the event of natural disasters, as well as to create a community service that serves meals once a day to help local families and reduce hunger.

Context of the mandate

Our website needs some love! We want to update it so we can better communicate our mission and activities. We could also use some support with social media posts.

Tasks

- Updating the website according to our instructions

- Handling communications on social networks

- Helping us renew our domain name

Desired qualifications

- Tech savvy

- Ability to update a website built with a CMS (we use WIX)

- Knowledge of social media management

- Patience when communicating with a small team that isn't always comfortable with technology

- Someone who has access to a laptop and a reliable internet connection (this is primarily a remote volunteer role)
