Context of the mandate

Although we have several volunteers who deliver meals and provide transportation on a regular, daily basis, we’re looking for people to help us make one-time deliveries of mail or frozen food to our members in the neighborhood.

For example, we could need your help with:

• Delivering membership cards 
• Delivering frozen meals to a senior who needs occasional food assistance
• Delivering our informational pamphlets or newsletters

 

Tasks

• Depending on pre-scheduled dates or your availability, go to Résolidaire
• Pick up the mail to be delivered and/or the frozen meals
• Pick up the address list and route map, if needed
• Make the delivery (on foot, by car, or by bike).

Desired qualifications

Being in good physical condition (for delivery people who walk or ride a bike)
Having no criminal record
Being eager to contribute to the neighborhood community!

Expected level of involvement

The level of involvement is flexible, depending on your availability.

It ranges from once a week to once a month.

Deliveries would be made during time slots agreed upon with the managers, during our business hours from Monday through Friday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.).
