Context of the mandate
La Maison Orléans is a non-profit community organization that supports seniors, including individuals with a history of involvement in the criminal justice system, in their social reintegration process. In recent years, our organization has experienced significant growth in its activities, staff, and budget. We are now entering a consolidation phase aimed at strengthening our governance, internal controls, and long-term financial sustainability. We are seeking an individual who wishes to contribute their expertise in finance, accounting, or management to a meaningful, people-centered community mission by volunteering as Treasurer on our Board of Directors. This is a governance, oversight, and advisory role, not an operational accounting position. Day-to-day accounting activities are already managed by the organization, and our annual financial statements are audited by an external accounting firm. You will have the opportunity to contribute to sound financial governance, philanthropic development, and the long-term sustainability of an organization dedicated to supporting vulnerable seniors. Join our Board of Directors and put your expertise to work for a mission that makes a tangible difference by reducing social isolation and supporting the social reintegration of vulnerable seniors.
