Context of the mandate

Give your time and help make music accessible to young people!

The evenko foundation is looking for volunteers to support its fundraising activities at concerts, festivals and events in Montréal and surrounding areas.

As a volunteer, you will help raise awareness of the foundation’s mission and its Pick the Ace "As de pic" lottery among the public. Your involvement helps engage concertgoers with our cause and makes a tangible contribution to our fundraising efforts.

Above all, you are an ambassador for the foundation’s mission. This is about more than simply selling tickets—it’s an opportunity to introduce people to an important cause and help amplify its impact.

Tasks

Key responsibilities include:

• Approach spectators and briefly introduce Fondation evenko’s mission;
• Promote the As de Pic lottery and explain how it works;
• Offer lottery tickets to interested individuals;
• Process transactions using a payment terminal;
• Answer participants’ questions;
• Create a positive and engaging experience for the public;
• Work collaboratively with the onsite team to ensure the activity runs smoothly.

Training and all necessary tools will be provided.

Desired qualifications

We are looking for people who are:

• 18 years of age or older;
• Available primarily evenings and weekends;
• Comfortable interacting with the public;
• Energetic, enthusiastic and comfortable approaching people proactively;
• Reliable, respectful and able to work independently;
• Interested in music, events or the community sector;
• Motivated by a mission that helps young people thrive through music.

Please note:

• This is an unpaid volunteer position;
• The role is active and requires standing for extended periods and/or frequent walking throughout the event site. Volunteers must be comfortable standing and moving around for the duration of their shift;
• Activities take place in busy, dynamic concert and event environments;
• Shifts may vary depending on events and operational needs.

Expected level of involvement

Volunteer shifts are generally scheduled around the period leading up to the show and end when the main artist takes the stage. Shift lengths may vary depending on the event.

Before their first activity, volunteers receive training and are required to review the volunteer handbook, procedures and applicable guidelines.

To join our team, you will receive a link to create a profile on the Better Impact platform. Applications are reviewed based on the needs of our activities and the criteria we are looking for. Once approved, volunteers can select available opportunities that match their availability and interests.
