Context of the mandate

Génération DaVinci is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to provide young people with a space for creative experimentation that blends art and science, where they can thrive, learn, and develop a sense of agency in the context of the ecological transition.

We are currently in the midst of rolling out our strategic plan and are seeking support in promoting our services, developing our online presence, and building a community of practice.

Tasks

Working closely with management, the volunteer will be responsible for boosting our online presence and promoting our workshops and mission within the school, community, and youth ecosystems. The main responsibilities are as follows:

• Content Planning and Creation: Design and share a variety of content (photos, videos, carousels, etc.) tailored to different platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube/Shorts).
• Promoting Our Mission: Write compelling copy and produce multimedia content that highlights our commitment to youth and the ecological transition.
• Strategy and Innovation: Propose innovative ideas to enhance our online visibility in a relevant and effective manner.
• Community Development: Help build and maintain productive relationships with a network of potential partners.

 

Desired qualifications

• Strong interest in digital marketing, communications, and community management.
• Experience or proficiency in creating visual and video content (proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools is a plus).
• Creativity, independence, and an excellent ability to identify current trends on social media.
• A commitment to the organization’s social mission and the cause of youth.

Expected level of involvement

• Location: 100% remote
• Commitment: Volunteering (flexible schedule, ideal for a professional or student wishing to get involved in their community) - 3 to 5 hours per week
