Context of the mandate

The mission of the Sault-Saint-Louis Hospice is to welcome and support people at the end of life and their loved ones in a peaceful environment marked by respect and dignity.

Tasks

To provide musical performances (piano, keyboard, guitar, violin, singing, etc.) for end-of-life patients residing at the Sault-Saint-Louis Hospice, as well as their loved ones. Performances may be provided in the designated music room or in residents’ rooms.

• Comfort working with vulnerable individuals;

• Excellent communication skills;

• Ability to adapt to change and versatility;

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team;

• Discretion, respect, and diplomacy;

• Strict adherence to confidentiality;

• Professionalism, thoroughness, and punctuality;

• Fluency in French; knowledge of English is an asset.

Expected level of involvement

Flexible availability is accepted, ranging from once a week to once a month or even a few times a year.
