Context of the mandate

Boîte à Lunch is a free, interactive after-school program that allows 4th, 5th, and 6th-grade students from elementary schools in Le Plateau-Mont-Royal to develop a healthy relationship with food by learning cooking techniques, preparing meals and snacks, and gaining nutritional knowledge.

At the end of each weekly workshop, participants will take home a healthy lunch box.

Tasks

• Setting up cooking equipment
• Assisting facilitators during the educational part of the workshop
• Assisting children with recipe preparation and cooking
• Helping to tidy up the kitchen

Expected level of involvement

There are four volunteer time slots available for this activity:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 3:30 PM to 6:30 PM.

You may choose one slot or several, if you wish :)

Start date: Week of October 5, 2026
Total duration: 10 weeks (To ensure stability for the children, volunteers must commit to attending the majority of the sessions)
