• Centre de pédiatrie sociale de Verdun, Les Petits Renards Les Petits Renards vient en aide aux enfants en situation de vulnérabilité de 0 à 17 ans et leur famille demeurant dans les arrondissements de Verdun-Île-des-Sœurs, et plus largement du Sud-Ouest de Montréal. Grâce à une approche interdisciplinaire novatrice combinant médecine, travail social et éducation spécialisée, nous offrons des services cliniques, psychosociaux et éducatifs adaptés aux besoins de chaque enfant, dans un environnement bienveillant et inclusif. Les Petits Renards provides support to vulnerable children ages 0 to 17 and their families living in the Verdun-Île-des-Sœurs boroughs and, more broadly, in Montreal’s Southwest. Through an innovative, interdisciplinary approach that combines medicine, social work, and special education, we offer clinical, psychosocial, and educational services tailored to each child’s needs in a caring and inclusive environment.

Context of the mandate

Les Petits Renards is a registered charitable organization that supports vulnerable children aged 0 to 17 and their families living in the borough of Verdun–Île-des-Sœurs, and more broadly across Southwest Montreal.

Through an innovative interdisciplinary approach that combines medicine, social work and specialized education, we provide clinical, psychosocial and educational services tailored to each child’s needs, in a caring and inclusive environment.

Saturday, December 12 is the Petits Renards Holiday Fundraiser! Join us in the streets of Verdun and Île des Sœurs to collect donations and support essential services for vulnerable children in our community.

It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a festive and meaningful experience with family, friends or colleagues!

As a volunteer, you’ll take part in collecting donations in the community, as part of a team, in the streets of Verdun. Ready to make a difference with us?

Tasks

• Solicit donations from motorists and passersby;
• Distribute promotional materials and inform donors about the mission of Les Petits Renards;
• Encourage participation in a positive and energetic atmosphere;
• Work collaboratively with other volunteers and the Les Petits Renards team;
• Follow all safety and fundraising guidelines.

Desired qualifications

No experience required! We are looking for people who are:

• Energetic and enthusiastic;
• Comfortable approaching and engaging with people;
• Team players who enjoy working with others;
• Willing to give their time to a cause that makes a difference in the lives of children and families.

Expected level of involvement

The commitment is simply to give a few hours of your time on Saturday, December 12! You can volunteer anytime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m., or choose one of the two volunteer shifts: 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. or 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
