Context of the mandate

On October 1st, Groupe L'Entre Gens and the CAQVA-PP will host the Festi-Aînés de la Petite-Patrie at Parc du Père-Marquette (1602 Bellechasse Street), a festive event that brings together seniors from the neighborhood. We are therefore looking for volunteers to help us with the logistics of the Festi-Aînés.

Working with our team, you will be asked to:
- Move equipment to the event site in the park;
- Set up tents and kiosks;
- Perform any other logistical support tasks to ensure the event is a success!

We will welcome you at 8:30 a.m. at Père-Marquette Park, and setup should be completed between 11:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Afterward, you are invited to stay with us to enjoy Festi-Aînés, the various activities on offer, and the musical entertainment.

Tasks

Working with our team, you will be asked to:

• Move equipment to the event site in the park;
• Set up tents and kiosks;
• Perform any other logistical support tasks to ensure the event is a success!

Desired qualifications

• Is physically fit and able to perform manual tasks;
• Is not afraid to be active and work outdoors;
• Is punctual, responsible, and efficient;
• Enjoys working as part of a team;
• Is able to follow instructions;
• Is resourceful and proactive;
• Can handle and move equipment safely;
• Experience in event setup is a plus, but no specific experience is required.
