Context of the mandate

CISIM-MTL is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the social, professional, linguistic, and economic integration of immigrants in Montréal.

As part of the official launch of its activities, CISIM-MTL aims to celebrate the richness of cultural diversity through dance and artistic expression.

Tasks

CISIM-MTL is seeking volunteer dancers to participate in the cultural and artistic entertainment of its official launch.

The artists will help create a dynamic, welcoming, and engaging experience for participants.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and perform a dance presentation;
• Participate in the cultural entertainment of the event;
• Collaborate with other artists and the CISIM-MTL team;
• Respect the event schedule and program;
• Participate in the preparation and coordination of the performance;
• Contribute to a warm, inclusive atmosphere that celebrates cultural diversity.

Desired qualifications

We are looking for individuals who are:

• Passionate about dance and the arts;
• Comfortable performing in front of an audience;
• Energetic, creative, and enthusiastic;
• Reliable, responsible, and punctual;
• Respectful and sensitive to cultural diversity;
• Able to work well as part of a team.

Experience in dance, cultural entertainment, or stage performance is an asset.

Dances from different cultural traditions and backgrounds are warmly welcomed.

Expected level of involvement

Availability for Thursday, October 1, 2026, as well as for a brief preparation session beforehand, is preferred.

The duration of the performance will be determined in consultation with the artists based on the final event program.
