Context of the mandate

Institut F is a nonprofit organization dedicated to developing leadership among Muslim women and fostering the well-being of Muslim families in Quebec. Through its various programs, activities, and initiatives, Institut F creates spaces for gathering, reflection, and dialogue that promote community participation and engagement.

The Mandate:

As part of our “Family in Harmony” program, Institut F is organizing a discussion forum on September 19, 2026, on the theme “Parenting in a Changing World,” from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

To enable parents to fully participate in this gathering, we are looking for a volunteer educator from the Muslim community or with a good understanding of it to supervise and engage with the participants’ children during the event.

 

 

 

Tasks

• Ensure the children's safety and supervise them,
• Offer age-appropriate activities,
• Create a caring, safe, and pleasant environment,
• Ensure that the childcare session runs smoothly.

Desired qualifications

We are looking for someone with experience working with children, ideally in recreation, education, and childcare.

The ideal candidate must be well-organized, responsible, caring, patient, attentive, and comfortable around children. They must demonstrate reliability, creativity, and strong organizational skills, and be able to create a safe, warm, and pleasant environment for the children.
