Context of the mandate

Our organization's mission is to welcome women in difficulty unconditionally and without judgment. We offer them safe housing, along with support and guidance tailored to their needs. With the help of experienced caseworkers, women in our organization can undertake a process that fosters their return to autonomy and personal and social empowerment.

We operate a store where we sell donated clothing, furniture, and home accessories at affordable prices. This revenue is the organization's main source of funding.

Tasks

• Assisting in the fitting rooms
• Customer service, and organizing displays and the store
• Supporting various sections based on your interests or current needs (audio/video, household items, furniture, books, men's, women's, and children's clothing, online shop, sports, etc.)
• Sorting donations (clothing and items) to help uncover hidden treasures!

Expected level of involvement

Minimum 4 hours per week, during our opening hours:

• Monday to Wednesday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
• Thursday and Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. or 8:30 p.m. (Plateau Store)
• Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Sunday, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Volunteers can choose a shift from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., 2 p.m. to 5/6 p.m., or 4 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., but other arrangements can also be accommodated.
