Context of the mandate

WANT TO MAKE A DIFFERENCE IN MILTON-PARC? JOIN OUR BOARD!

Would you like to help make your neighbourhood greener, more inclusive and more vibrant?

Jardins pour Tous is looking for four engaged community members to join our Board of Directors.

Our mission is to build a network of greening, urban agriculture, social and educational initiatives in Milton-Parc—bringing people together and creating spaces that make our neighbourhood a better place to live.

 

 

Tasks

This is an opportunity to:

• Contribute directly to a growing local initiative;
• Help shape key decisions and increase our impact in the community;
• Put your skills and experience to work for a meaningful, hands-on project;
• Connect with people who share your desire to innovate and do things differently;
• Gain experience in governance, organizational management and nonprofit development.

Desired qualifications

We are particularly interested in people with experience or an interest in:

• Horticulture, urban agriculture, greening or urban planning;
• Communications, marketing, education or community engagement;
• Finance, accounting or auditing;
• ️Law;
• Human resources management;
• ️Community life and representation of Milton-Parc residents.

Don’t have one of these specific backgrounds but still want to contribute? We’d love to hear from you! Above all, we are looking for people who are engaged, collaborative and ready to put their experience to work for the project.

Expected level of involvement

A Realistic Commitment

Terms of office are two years.

Election at our annual general meeting — November 2026

The commitment amounts to approximately 3 to 4 hours per month, including Board meetings and participation in at least one committee.

The Board meets about four times a year.

Please note: If you’re primarily interested in getting involved in activities, gardens, and hands-on projects rather than governance, we have other ways for you to get involved as well!
