Context of the mandate

CISIM-MTL is seeking a Human Resources Volunteer to support the Executive Director throughout the recruitment process. The volunteer will participate in interviews, candidate assessments, and discussions leading to the selection of candidates. They will also contribute to the use of interview evaluation forms and the improvement of recruitment practices, while ensuring confidentiality, fairness, and respect for CISIM-MTL’s values.

 

Tasks

• Participate in recruitment interviews;
• Ask questions and assess candidates;
• Complete interview evaluation forms;
• Share observations with the Executive Director;
• Participate in candidate selection discussions and recommendations;
• Contribute to improving the recruitment process;
• Maintain the confidentiality of candidate information.

Desired qualifications

• Education or experience in human resources, recruitment, or management;
• Experience conducting interviews and assessing candidates is an asset;
• Good judgment, analytical skills, and impartiality;
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills;
• Good command of French; proficiency in English is an asset;
• Strong organizational skills, professionalism, and discretion;
• Ability to maintain confidentiality;
• Interest in the community sector and in supporting the integration of immigrants.

Expected level of involvement

Flexible and occasional commitment, mainly during recruitment interviews and candidate selection periods. A few hours per month, depending on CISIM-MTL’s needs.
