Context of the mandate

Carrefour Parenfants is looking for volunteers to expand its volunteer pool for its drop-in daycare. This service allows parents to participate in our activities with peace of mind while their children are cared for in a safe, warm, and stimulating environment.

Tasks

• Welcoming and supervising children;
• Leading age-appropriate games and activities;
• Ensuring the well-being and safety of children;
• Fostering a caring and fun environment;
• Collaborating with the Carrefour Parenfants team.

Desired qualifications

• You enjoy spending time with children;
• You are patient, responsible, and caring;
• You are outgoing and enjoy playing, creating, and leading activities;
• You are reliable and punctual;
• Experience working with children is an asset, but not required.

Expected level of involvement

You don't need to be available for all time slots. We are looking for people who can commit regularly to at least one of the following periods:

Every other Wednesday, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Thursdays, from 9:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
Fridays, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
