Context of the mandate
Join a passionate team of volunteers and help raise funds for the organization. We have an important fundraising goal to reach before the end of the year—and we need your help! Maison Saint Columba House is a non-profit organization offering 11 community programs that support residents of Pointe-Saint-Charles. A pillar of the community for 109 years, the organization provides intergenerational programming for children, youth, adults, and seniors.
In the past, volunteers have organized silent auctions, holiday markets, supper clubs, wine tastings, and more. Creativity is encouraged! Bring your ideas, tap into your network, and help make a difference in the community!
The committee will be responsible for brainstorming, planning, and hosting 1-2 special events before the end of 2026.
Tasks
Tasks include attending 1-hour monthly meetings and working with the team to reach out to venues, contact businesses, sell tickets, create event schedules, and more. Specific tasks depend on the nature of the chosen event.
Desired qualifications
No qualifications are required; all experience is welcome!
Expected level of involvement
Volunteers must attend one-hour monthly meetings and contribute additional personal time to help plan or host the event, for a total commitment of approximately 15 hours. Meetings may be held virtually or in person, depending on committee needs.
