Context of the mandate

Le Groupe L'Entre-Gens is an organization whose mission is to improve the quality of life of seniors in Petite-Patrie by promoting home care.

We are looking for volunteers with and whitout cars to join our team of drivers to support seniors in Petite-Patrie by safely transporting them to their medical appointments.

Tasks

As a volunteer escort, you will be responsible for:

- Meeting the beneficiary at their home at the scheduled time;
- Taking the beneficiary to their medical appointment—either in your own vehicle, via adapted transportation, or by public transit;
- (Optional) Staying with the beneficiary for the duration of their appointment;
- Taking the beneficiary back home

Desired qualifications

This is a volunteer opportunity based on the requests for transportation received and your availability. Whenever possible, we try to pair a beneficiary with the same volunteer. 

Please note that we conduct criminal background checks.

Expected level of involvement

Available on weekdays; minimum 3-month commitment
