Context of the mandate

Join our team of volunteers and help make our recreational activities even more special! We are looking for volunteers to support our activity leaders during our Friday evening dance night.

Tasks

Friday evenings - Dance evenings
Schedule : 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Your tasks  :

• Welcome participants with a smile.
• Manage attendance and personal belongings (coats, bags, etc.).
• Co-host musical and dance activities.
• Prepare and distribute snacks.

Desired qualifications

We are looking for people who are

• Comfortable dancing and moving in front of a group
• Excited to encourage participants to dance with them and create a fun, inclusive, and dynamic atmosphere
• Respectful, responsible, and attentive
• Passionate about the well-being of people living with an intellectual disability
• Eager to get involved and build meaningful connections
• With or without experience - all applicants are welcome!

A valid CPR certification, as well as experience working with people living with an intellectual disability or related experience, is preferred.

Expected level of involvement

Our dance activity takes place every Friday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. We are looking for reliable, punctual individuals who can maintain a consistent schedule to ensure a regular presence and support for our participants.

However, we are open to discussing the schedule based on each person’s availability and finding an arrangement that works for everyone.
