Context of the mandate
The Solidarité Afrique‑Canada Foundation is recruiting a Vice President to strengthen its governance, ensure continuity in decision‑making, and support the growth of its community projects. This role is essential to assist the President in his/her duties and to replace him/her in the event of absence or unavailability, thereby guaranteeing the administrative and operational stability of the organization. The Vice President will contribute to the coordination of projects focused on social inclusion, the integration of newcomers, and the reduction of social isolation among seniors. He/she will participate in external representation, partnership development, the steering of the Board of Directors and Executive Committee activities, as well as the sharing of administrative responsibilities. His/her engagement will help improve operational efficiency, reinforce governance, accelerate decision‑making, and increase the Foundation’s social impact. The Vice President will play a strategic role in consolidating the mission of the FSAC and ensuring the sustainability of its actions in service of the communities.

A well‑organized, committed, and reliable individual with effective leadership skills, capable of supporting the President, stepping in when needed, and actively contributing to the growth and stability of the Foundation. He/she should have a solid understanding of community issues and a genuine motivation to strengthen the organization’s social impact.
Expected level of involvement
A regular commitment in the Fondation, availability to support and replace the President when necessary, and active participation in project coordination and external representation. The role requires steady involvement, positive leadership, and a genuine willingness to contribute to the Foundation’s social mission.
