Context of the mandate

Lasalle Saint-John Brebeuf Meals-on-Wheels is currently looking for cooks helper to prepare hot meals delivered to elderly persons in the Lasalle borough on Thursday, from 7:30 am to 11:30 am. 

Meals-on-Wheels is located at the Saint-John Brébeuf Church at 7777 George Street.

Tasks

As a cook helper, you will support the cook and another cook helper to perform the following tasks:
•    Prepare soups or salads and main meals;
•    Pack meals for delivery (meals must be ready by 10:30, when the delivery teams come in);
•    Clean the kitchen after preparing meals.

Desired qualifications

We are looking for people who live in Lasalle or the surrounding area and who are comfortable in the kitchen, punctual, and reliable.

Expected level of involvement

Commitment : At least once a month.
