Context of the mandate

Lasalle Saint-John Brébeuf Meals-on-Wheels is currently looking for volunteer drivers to deliver hot meals to elderly persons in the Lasalle borough. Deliveries are done in duos with a delivery volunteer who can help you navigate and will bring the meal at the door of our clients.

The Meals-on-Wheels is located at the Saint-John Brébeuf Church at 7777 George Street and deliveries are made on Thursdays from 10:30 to 12:30 at the latest.

 

Tasks

As a volunteer driver, you will be asked to :
•Show up at the Meals-on-Wheels organization to meet the delivery volunteer and to carry the meals to your vehicle;
•Drive the vehicle to each client’s address
•Drive the delivery volunteer back to the Meals-on-Wheels organization.

Desired qualifications

We are looking for people who live in Lasalle or the surrounding area and who have their own vehicle.

Expected level of involvement

Commitment : At least once a month.
