Context of the mandate

Maison Saint Columba House is looking for volunteers to deliver hot meals on foot as part of our Meals on Wheels (MOW) program in Point Saint-Charles.

Volunteers will deliver nutritious hot lunches to our MOW participants on weekdays (up to 12 addresses per route), supporting seniors and individuals with reduced mobility. This role is a great way to stay active while making a meaningful impact in the neighborhood .

Tasks

• Pick up meals at Maison Saint Columba House
• Deliver the correct number of meals to assigned addresses
• Collect monthly payments from participants
• Offer a friendly smile and a brief, positive interaction with clients

Desired qualifications

hat we’re looking for:

• Comfortable walking or biking short delivery routes

• Reliable and punctual

• Friendly, respectful, and client-oriented

• Enjoy helping people and interacting with community members

• Able to carry a light insulated bag (up to 20 lbs)

• No delivery experience required 

Volunteers must be comfortable being outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Expected level of involvement

Minimum 3 months (2–5 times per week)

Schedule:
Weekdays, late morning to early afternoon
⏰ Approximately 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM
