Context of the mandate

Service d’aide communautaire Anjou (SAC Anjou) is looking for a volunteer to transport meals for its community lunches on Mondays or Thursdays.

The lunches are held at various locations in Anjou, including the church basement, Jardins Chaumont, and the Centre communautaire d’Anjou (CCA).

Your contribution is essential to the success of our community lunches. By transporting meals and supplies, you help our team provide welcoming opportunities for community members to come together and connect. Your involvement directly contributes to making our activities accessible and fostering social connections among participants.

Tasks

• Pick up meals and containers at SAC Anjou at approximately 11:30 a.m.;
• Transport the meals to the community lunch location in the Anjou area;
• Return to the location between 2:00 and 2:30 p.m. to pick up the containers;
• Bring the containers back to SAC Anjou;
• Safely handle and transport two large bins.

Desired qualifications

The volunteer must have their own vehicle and a valid driver’s licence. The vehicle must have enough space to transport two large bins containing meals and the necessary supplies.

We are looking for someone who is reliable, punctual, and comfortable making short trips within the Anjou area.

Expected level of involvement

Activities will begin on Monday, September 14, 2026, for Monday lunches and Thursday, September 17, 2026, for Thursday lunches.

We are looking for someone who is available on Mondays or Thursdays. Volunteers may also choose to help on both days.
