Context of the mandate

We’re looking for volunteers to drive and accompany children and young people from the Centre jeunesse de Montréal in their personal cars for appointments, supervised visits with the family or leisure activities. 

Activity area : The island of Montreal and surrounding areas.

Tasks

Main tasks:

- Drive children and youth in own car to appointments in a safe manner;
- Use car seats (if the child needs it);
- Maintain a calm and friendly atmosphere in car;
- Maintain a harmonious relationship with parents, foster family or caregiver.

- Ability to communicate, courtesy and kindness;
- Punctuality, patience and flexibility;
- Responsibility and confidentiality.

Expected level of involvement

We particularly need volunteers available in the evenings between 6 p.m. and 10 p.m.
