Context of the mandate

When you volunteer at the Canadian Cancer Society you have real impact!

It takes all of us to take on cancer. Volunteer with us at one of our signature events in your community. You can choose a specific role and shift(s) based on availability. You can also assist us when we need event support on an on-call basis in your own community.

Tasks

Here are the main responsibilities associated with the position:

• Sell raffle tickets to our 600+ guests;
• Process payments using a mobile payment terminal;
• Provide receipts and sold tickets to the finance team on site.

Desired qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role has :

• A positive attitude,
• Strong teamwork skills,
• Experience in sales, customer service, or representing an organization/company.

Expected level of involvement

Availability on Tuesday, September 29, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
