Context of the mandate

We are looking for people to help build new or alter existing accessability devices for community members with disabilities.

Any kind of technical skill such as mechanical, woodworking, computing or just handy skills can be an asset.

You will be assigned a project that can last for days or months depending on the needs.

Each project will cost around 500$ maximum and you will be supported with a network of team members with experience. 

Tasks

Community members will send in requests for devices and depending on experience you will choose a project to help complete. The projects can range from wheelchairs to ramps to listening devices etc. We have a database of previous devices we have completed on our website.

You will have to travel to personal homes but will be fully reimburesed for gas or transit fares.

Expected level of involvement

Meetings twice a month online. Otherwize your involement will depend on how much time you can offer month to month.
