Context of the mandate

To expand its community programming, SAC Anjou is looking for a volunteer to lead an intermediate-level Spanish course. By sharing your knowledge, you will help create an accessible learning environment, encourage meaningful connections among community members, and reduce social isolation. Your contribution will have a tangible impact by giving participants the opportunity to strengthen their Spanish skills in a welcoming and inclusive setting.

Tasks

• Lead classes that help participants deepen their Spanish language skills;
• Prepare engaging activities that encourage conversation and support the group's progress;
• Foster a welcoming, supportive, and stimulating learning environment.

Desired qualifications

• Excellent command of the Spanish language;
• Experience in or an interest in teaching or facilitating group activities;
• A passion for sharing knowledge in a community setting.

Expected level of involvement

We are looking for a volunteer available 2 hours per week to lead a Spanish class once a week, on Tuesday or Thursday, morning or afternoon. Classes begin the week of September 7, 2026. The length of the volunteer commitment is to be confirmed.
