Your Expertise Can Make a Difference. Become a Volunteer Marketing Strategy Advisor and Help Local Entrepreneurs to Succeed.

At Microcrédit Montréal, we believe every entrepreneur deserves the tools and support needed to reach their full potential.

For more than 35 years, we have helped individuals and businesses who are excluded from traditional financing by providing microloans and personalized support. By sharing your expertise, you will play a meaningful role in helping Montréal entrepreneurs grow their businesses and contribute to a more inclusive economy.

Your Role

As a Volunteer Marketing Strategy Advisor, you will work with one or more entrepreneurs to help them strengthen their business strategy by:

• gaining a deeper understanding of their market;
• strengthening their market positioning;
• identifying growth opportunities;
• developing marketing strategies tailored to their business realities;
• making informed strategic decisions.

Your role is to guide, advise, and share your experience while empowering entrepreneurs to make their own decisions and grow independently.

This Volunteer Opportunity Is for You If You…

• have solid experience in marketing strategy, business development, or business growth;
• enjoy mentoring, listening, and providing strategic advice;
• can analyze markets and identify growth opportunities for small businesses;
• are knowledgeable about both digital and traditional marketing strategies;
• want to use your expertise to support a meaningful social mission.

What You'll Get Out of It

In addition to helping entrepreneurs succeed, you will have the opportunity to:

• use your expertise to create a positive social impact;
• join a network of dedicated professionals;
• connect with entrepreneurs from diverse backgrounds and industries;
• contribute to building a more inclusive local economy.

Your Commitment

• Availability for a six-month mentoring cycle;
• Up to five hours per month;
• Participation in a preparatory meeting before being matched with an entrepreneur.

As a volunteer advisor, you will act as a guide and trusted resource. You will share your experience, encourage strategic thinking, and help entrepreneurs build the confidence and skills to make their own decisions. This approach—grounded in listening, trust, and mutual respect—is at the heart of Microcrédit Montréal's mission.
