Cyclistes solidaires is looking for a coordinator in Villeray. An opportunity has arisen to expand our scope of activity in line with our mission. Here is the project in question:

Marché solidaire de Villeray-Est is a new project led by the Collectif Villeray sans faim and CDC Solidarités Villeray. Opening is scheduled on August 21. The market will be open every Friday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. and every Saturday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Parc Nicolas-Tillemont. The Marché is scheduled to end in October of this year.

The Marché's goal is to improve access to healthy food in the neighborhood by offering fruits, vegetables, and basic food items. To better serve the many seniors and people with limited mobility, the Marché would also like to offer a home delivery service. So far, about 4 to 6 beneficiaires have already expressed interest.

Deliveries would take place on Fridays in the late afternoon.

How can we make these deliveries happen?

We are looking for a new coordinator who can mobilize volunteers and serve as the liaison with the organization. Cyclistes solidaires will share their expertise and know-how to help make this collaboration a reality.
