The Organization
Transit Secours Québec (TSQ) is a non-profit organization that provides free and safe moving and storage services to individuals fleeing gender-based and intimate partner violence. Our mission is to ensure the safety of our clients and beneficiaries during a critical stage of their journey.

The Mandate
To enrich its marketing communications services, Transit Secours Québec (TSQ) is currently forming a volunteer committee of 3 to 5 people. The selected individuals will work as a team to capture the essence of our mission. Your goal will be to create authentic images and videos for our social networks, our website (ensembletsq.ca), and our fundraising campaigns. Through your visual art, you will highlight the dedication of our field teams and raise public awareness about the realities of individuals fleeing perpetrators of violence, while absolutely respecting the anonymity of our clientele.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan and Execute: Organize photo or video shoots independently or as a team (during events, in our warehouses, or during moving simulations).
• Capture the Impact: Tell our story visually and illustrate our slogan, "Moving hope forward, securing your departure.", focusing on volunteer action, hope, and solidarity.
• Protect: Apply our strict confidentiality protocols with zero tolerance (never photograph/film the faces of clients or beneficiaries, blur license plates and addresses).
• Edit: Perform basic post-production (photo retouching, dynamic video editing, subtitling) in strict compliance with our brand guidelines and visual accessibility rules.

Your Skills Profile

• Expertise: You are a photographer/videographer (advanced amateur, student, or professional) with a portfolio that demonstrates a strong capacity for visual storytelling.
• Collaborative Skills: You possess excellent teamwork and project collaboration skills.
• Independent Equipment: You own and use your own recording equipment (camera/video camera, tripod, sound equipment) as well as your editing/retouching software.
• Soft Skills: You demonstrate absolute discretion, impeccable ethical judgment, and great empathy. Accountability and commitment are at the core of your work ethic, as is your ability to thrive within a group.
• Mobility: You own a vehicle and hold a valid driver's license to transport your equipment to various shooting locations in the Greater Montreal area.

Practical Information

Location: Hybrid. Field shoots (Greater Montreal) and post-production at home.

Availability: Variable and flexible schedule, estimated between 5 and 10 hours per month depending on the projects.

Requirements: Must be 18 years or older, sign a strict non-disclosure agreement, and pass a criminal background check (mandatory for all TSQ volunteer personnel).

Duration: Continuous commitment (a minimum of 3 to 6 months is desired).
