The Organization

Transit Secours Québec (TSQ) is a non-profit organization that provides free and safe moving and storage services to individuals fleeing gender-based and intimate partner violence. Our mission is to ensure the safety of our clients and beneficiaries during a critical stage of their journey.

The Mandate

To enrich its marketing communications services, Transit Secours Québec (TSQ) is currently forming a volunteer committee of 3 to 5 people passionate about digital media. The selected individuals will work as a team to boost our online presence. Your main objective will be to develop and deploy a content strategy aimed at recruiting new volunteers for our field teams, as well as soliciting donations to fund our operations. In parallel, you will help raise public awareness about the complex realities faced by individuals fleeing perpetrators of violence.

Your Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize our current digital presence across our various social platforms.
• Draft strategic and engaging posts by leveraging strong storytelling skills and consistently applying inclusive grammar and spelling.
• Create visually appealing content while strictly adhering to our brand guidelines and visual accessibility rules.
• Highlight our mission, drive traffic to our website ensembletsq.ca, and integrate our official slogan: "Moving hope forward, securing your departure."
• Design acquisition campaigns with clear calls to action to support crowdfunding and team recruitment.

Your Skills Profile

• Expertise: You are a graduate student, a working professional, or a retiree in the fields of communications, digital marketing, or public relations.
• Collaborative Skills: You possess excellent teamwork and remote collaboration skills.
• Tools: You master social media management platforms (e.g., Meta Business Suite) and have an excellent command of visual creation tools (proficiency with Canva is a major asset).
• Soft Skills: You demonstrate great empathy, creativity driven by social impact, and rigor. Accountability and commitment are at the core of your work ethic, along with a strong ability to work independently within a group.
• Motivation: You want to have a direct and tangible impact on the safety of our beneficiaries by supporting our operations remotely, without having to be present during the moves. Previous experience in the community sector is an asset.
