Are you passionate about technology and willing to take the lead to contribute to your community? We’re seeking Volunteer Code Club Mentors to inspire the next generation of innovators. This role is for someone who is ready to take on a new challenge and guide young people on their coding journey. You'll be the one building confidence and creativity as they code games, animations, and websites. No coding experience is necessary, but strong leadership skills and a proactive attitude are a must!

We offer free resources such as project guides, certificates, and posters, as well as ongoing support through online workshops, community events, and personalized guidance.

This is more than just a volunteer role—it's an opportunity to make a real impact. You'll be:

• The driving force behind the club's sessions, planning activities and providing guidance.
• The primary mentor who encourages young people and helps them overcome technical challenges.
• The one who manages the session's flow, from setting up equipment to welcoming attendees.

 What is expected:

• Plan and prepare resources ahead of club sessions
• Welcome attendees as they arrive at the sessions
• Encourage young people to participate in session activities
• Provide support to young people who are new to coding
• Provide technical guidance to help young people progress with their projects
• Set up technical equipment before sessions 
• Time commitment of 2 hours (training and onboarding), plus attendance at sessions according to your schedule. Sessions usually are 1 hour per week for 6-8 weeks.

All volunteers must attend mandatory safeguarding training and obtain a clear background check. Digital Moment covers all costs related to this.

Commitment: 2 hours of training and orientation, plus participation in sessions based on your schedule. Sessions typically last 1 hour per week for 8 to 10 weeks.
