A female volunteer who speaks Mandarin and English is needed to visit a senior living in NDG to help reduce social isolation related to a language barrier.

Commitment:

• Weekly visits
• Preference for morning visits
• Preferred days: Monday to Wednesday

Qualifications:

• Maturity and comfort working with an older adult
• Fluency in Mandarin
• Available for a minimum commitment of 6 months or longer

Asset:

• Knowledge of Chinese culture.
