ADHARA supports women and people of diverse sexual and gender identities who are involved in the criminal justice system or at risk of becoming so, as well as their children, in their efforts to maintain and strengthen bonds with one another and with their loved ones. By supporting their ability to take action individually and collectively, ADHARA contributes to social reintegration and helps reduce the risk of recidivism among offenders. We are looking for someone interested in helping us on a day-to-day basis with minor repairs at our day centre, as well as carrying out some maintenance work on the grounds. This would be a one-off/flexible role, with no set timetable, as you would be called upon as and when required. ADHARA covers transportation costs and all the equipment and supplies needed to carry out the volunteer work.
