Help Connect Seniors to Affordable Daily Meals!

Maison Saint Columba House is looking for friendly and compassionate volunteers to help spread the word about our Meals on Wheels program in Pointe-Saint-Charles.

Our Meals on Wheels program provides fresh hot meals delivered Monday to Friday to seniors and adults with reduced mobility for just $40 per month. Many eligible residents are unaware that this service exists or face barriers to accessing information online. As an Outreach Volunteer, you'll help ensure they know about this community resource.

What You'll Do

• Visit apartment buildings and senior residences in Pointe-Saint-Charles.
• Speak with seniors and residents about the Meals on Wheels program.
• Answer basic questions about the service.
• Help eligible participants complete their registration forms if needed.
• Direct any complex questions to the Meals on Wheels Coordinator.

Schedule

• Monday to Friday
• Any time between 9:00 AM and 2:30 PM
• Minimum commitment: 2-hour shifts
• Flexible scheduling available.

Ideal Volunteer

We're looking for someone who is:

• Bilingual (English and French).
• Friendly, approachable, and compassionate.
• Comfortable speaking with seniors.
• Organized and able to communicate clearly.
• Passionate about supporting older adults and reducing food insecurity in our community.
