Le Chaînon is looking for volunteers to help ensure the success of our annual sale, organized as part of the BLVD Festival, taking place from Thursday, September 3 to Sunday, September 6, 2026.

Come support our team during this community event and help provide a great experience for our customers while supporting our mission.

Your Contribution

Depending on your availability, you may assist with various tasks:

Preparation before the sale – Wednesday, September 2

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Hanging and organizing clothing items;
• Labeling and tagging merchandise.

During the sale – September 3 to 6

• Setting up the stand (morning team);
• Welcoming and assisting customers;
• Hanging and organizing clothing;
• Maintaining the organization and presentation of the stand;
• Closing and tidying up the stand (closing team).

After the event – Monday, September 7

10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. or 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

• Organizing inventory;
• Sorting hangers;
• Helping with store organization.

Volunteer Profile

We are looking for people who are:

• Reliable and punctual;
• Comfortable providing customer service;
• Enjoy working as part of a team;
• Ideally have previous experience in retail or clothing sorting.

Previous retail experience is an asset for certain preparation and organization tasks.

Available Shifts

Volunteer shifts of approximately 4 to 5 hours are available during the following hours:

• Thursday, September 3 and Friday, September 4:
  10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
  4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
   
• Saturday, September 5:
  10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  2:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
   
• Sunday, September 6:
  11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  3:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

We are ideally looking for groups of 4 volunteers per shift.

️Please note: Some tasks involve lifting and moving items (boxes of inventory, tables, and equipment). Volunteers participating in setup and closing shifts must be able to perform these physical tasks safely.
