Location: Le Chaînon Main House – 4373 Esplanade Avenue (with occasional travel to the MYM residence)

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers? By volunteering just a few hours each month, you can help support the administrative operations of Le Chaînon.

As a Petty Cash Reconciliation Volunteer, you will assist our team by completing the monthly reconciliation of three petty cash funds. Your contribution will help ensure accurate financial records and support the organization's day-to-day operations.

Responsibilities:

• Count the cash in each of the three petty cash funds.
• Reconcile cash balances with supporting receipts.
• Complete the monthly reconciliation report in Excel.
• Scan and organize expense receipts.
• When needed, travel to the MYM residence to reconcile its petty cash fund if it cannot be brought to the Main House.

Volunteer commitment:

• Once per month.
• A few hours per visit, depending on the number of transactions.
• Basic knowledge of Excel and general computer skills are an asset.

Your attention to detail and commitment will play an important role in supporting the sound financial management of Le Chaînon, helping our team continue its mission of supporting women on their journey toward stability and independence.
