Whether you’re on your own, with friends, or with coworkers, come garden for the community at the Jardin des Orioles!

The Jardin des Orioles is a vegetable-growing oasis in the heart of the city. Located right next to the Angrignon metro station, the garden’s mission is to grow as many vegetables as possible to distribute to the community. It’s a little piece of the countryside in the city, designed to be a place for learning and sharing.

There’s always so much to do and learn in the garden! We’re happy to welcome individual volunteers and corporate groups. The most common tasks include planting, harvesting, weeding, shovelling compost or mulch, pruning branches, and maintaining the grounds.

The schedule for individual volunteers is Wednesdays and Fridays, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m., throughout the season. For corporate groups, dates are to be determined with the head gardener.
