Are you ready to learn what advocacy means, learn more about the causes and solutions to extreme poverty, and then commit to taking action every month? Join us! Often, the first step is to draw attention to these issues and raise awareness—and to keep up the pressure. This may seem like a small step, but actions add up and have an impact. Examples of tasks: - Take a training course - Participate in volunteer meetings - Write letters to government authorities - Call public figures to raise awareness about the fight against extreme poverty - Write open letters to the media - Write opinion pieces - Post on social media - Participate in public consultations - Respond to other calls to action of a similar nature Support structure: Volunteers meet (virtually) in local groups every month and rely on their group leaders for guidance. It is also recommended that they attend other virtual calls and webinars led by Results staff. Commitment: Minimum of one year, 1-2 hours per week on average
