Imagine a space filled with tools, people working on their bikes, building furniture, learning new skills, and bringing projects to life. If showcasing this vibrant community sounds exciting to you, La Remise would love to welcome you!

About Us
La Remise is a solidarity cooperative run by and for its members and volunteers.

Our mission is to share tools, workspaces, and knowledge to empower people while promoting a more resilient, collaborative, and environmentally responsible way of life.

Through our two tool libraries, La Remise provides access to more than 2,000 tools that members can borrow. We also offer workshops, training sessions, and shared workspaces where members can complete projects with the support of experienced volunteers.

Your Role
As a volunteer at La Remise, you become an integral part of the cooperative and help shape its future.

We are currently looking for volunteers to join our Communications Committee, with a particular interest in content creation and social media management.

Your involvement could include:

• Capturing the life of the cooperative through photos, videos, and stories;
• Creating and publishing content across our communication platforms;
• Highlighting the projects, workshops, events, and people that make La Remise thrive;
• Collaborating with other committees and volunteers to gather information and identify stories worth sharing;
• Helping plan and manage our social media presence;
• Contributing to the visibility and outreach of our mission and activities.

Other Communications Projects
Depending on your interests, you may also contribute to:

• Internal and external communications strategies;
• Website improvements and SEO initiatives;
• Organizing volunteer appreciation and community-building events;
• Coordinating outreach, visibility, and promotional activities.

Who We're Looking For
You don't need to be a communications professional.

We're looking for someone who is curious, creative, and motivated to help promote a community initiative that has a tangible impact.

If you enjoy photography, content creation, storytelling, or simply helping inspiring projects reach a wider audience, we'd love to hear from you.

You can commit at least 2 hours per week.

• Free borrowing of tools and library items, including renewals;
• Free access to our Woodworking, Sewing, and Bike workshops, including access outside regular opening hours;

  • 15% off member training courses led by volunteers;
  • 15% off borrowing specialty tools;
  • 15% off woodworking locker rentals.
