Our social and circular cabinetmaking workshop offers a 6- to 12-month introductory program in cabinetmaking for individuals aged 16 and older who are socially and professionally excluded and are neither employed nor enrolled in school. Under the guidance of a cabinetmaker-instructor for 20 hours a week, apprentice cabinetmakers are introduced to woodworking techniques. The program also includes themed group workshops designed to develop the essential skills needed for sustainable integration into the workforce. We are seeking a cabinetmaker to assist the cabinetmaker-instructor. Your main responsibilities will include: The workshop schedule is Monday through Wednesday from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Some large-scale projects are carried out outside of normal business hours. Desired profile: We are looking for an independent, team-oriented individual who is willing to commit to a non-traditional work environment and is available to work a minimum of half a day (3–4 hours).
