Become a Volunteer with Partage & Solidarité!!

Partage & Solidarité is a charitable organization founded in 2017 and recipient of the Canada Volunteer Award. Our mission is to reduce food waste and support the community by redistributing unsold food from Montréal businesses, free of charge and with no paperwork or conditions required.

Each month, thanks to our volunteers, we rescue 35 to 40 tons of food, which are transformed into 3,000 to 4,000 free food baskets distributed across several Montréal boroughs.

Possible volunteer tasks when you come volunteer (based on your abilities and flexible) :
• Sorting and preparing food baskets.
• Welcoming and serving beneficiaries during distribution.
• Transporting and handling food (light or more physical tasks).
• Setup and logistical support.

Location: Varies depending on the service location and the selected distribution day.

Required Availability: Please let us know your availability, and we will see whether it aligns with one of our distribution days.

We are looking for volunteers who are interested in a long-term commitment and can join us on a regular, weekly basis throughout the year. Since training is required to meet MAPAQ standards, we are especially interested in volunteers who wish to be involved with the organization over the long term.

We value a respectful, inclusive, and warm welcome for everyone. Our activities run 7 days a week, with a variety of tasks available — including seated options.
