Le Frigo de l'Est: Épicerie Communautaire et Solidaire is a non-profit community organization that promotes the fight against food waste by offering food assistance services and awareness workshops focused on healthy eating, zero waste, voluntary simplicity, and the transition to food self-sufficiency.

The organization is seeking to fill 4 positions on its board of directors to bring the total to 7 members. Living in East Montreal is a strong asset! The start date is scheduled for July 14, during our AGM.

We are looking for individuals who fit one of the following 4 profiles

• Profile 1: Someone who can advise us on information technology to support our digital transformation;
• Profile 2: Someone who can advise us on developing fundraising strategies;
• Profile 3: Someone skilled in leading meetings and managing projects to ensure the board runs smoothly;
• Profile 4: Someone who can advise us on communications and marketing to increase the visibility and impact of Frigo de l’Est.

Previous board experience is not required. We can help with your training.

Approximately 8 regular 2-hour meetings per year, mostly in person. Opportunity to serve on one or more committees (HR, Finance, Communications, Relocation).
