Role Description:
You will be the primary point of contact, the guardian angel, and the go-to resource for the merchants of the Timbuktu Market.

• Welcoming: Greet merchants warmly and guide them around the market site as needed.
• Setup Assistance: Support merchants with the setup of their booths/stalls.
• Rule Enforcement: Communicate market guidelines with diplomacy and courtesy when necessary (waste management, schedules, safety regulations) and ensure they are followed.
• Technical Support: Lend a hand with basic technical needs, and redirect to the festival’s technical team for more complex issues.
• Liaison: Act as a bridge between the merchants and the Market Manager for major questions or unexpected situations.

Candidate Profile:

• Excellent Communication Skills: Diplomatic, patient, and a great listener.
• Problem-Solver: Ability to think on your feet and find solutions quickly.
• Team Player: Strong sense of mutual support and rigor in applying festival guidelines.
• Physical Stamina: Comfortable walking around the market site throughout your volunteer shift.
