You are outgoing and want to make a positive impact on the environment? Get involved; join our Green Squad!

Work in pairs to help the festival reduce its environmental impact step by step.

Educate the public about our recycling and composting strategies (e.g., all restaurant packaging is compostable!) to prevent contamination of the waste collected during the event.

Position yourself near our wooden sorting stations (or patrol your assigned area) and inform the public about where to dispose of the items they wish to discard.

Be patient, thorough, and kind.

Use humor when appropriate to get your message across.

You will receive a brief training session on eco-responsibility from an organization to prepare you for your interactions.

Gloves and litter pickers will be provided, but others will be responsible for sorting the contents of the full bins/bags you have supervised.

This team will also enjoy perks and small surprises along the way!

Note that this role takes place outdoors at the outdoor site and is accessible to individuals with reduced mobility.
