St. Michael’s Mission:

We are a community organization located in downtown Montreal that has been working for many years to support people experiencing homelessness and precarious living conditions. Our mission is to provide human support, frontline resources (meals, clothing, day center services), and psychosocial support to marginalized individuals in our community. We also operate a food bank on Thursdays (market day), which beneficiaries are eligible to visit once a month. 

Location: 1105 Stanley Street, H3B 2S6

Volunteer Position:

We are looking for committed and caring volunteers to help us in our mission. Here is the volunteer position currently available:

Volunteer Driver 

• Pick up the truck early in the morning at U-HAUL.
• Collect food donations throughout the city.
• Lift moderate loads (5 kg to 10 kg).
• Unload the truck at the Mission once the collection is complete.

Desired profile:

• A punctual and organized person
• Available all day on Tuesdays (8 a.m. to 2 p.m.)
• Must hold a valid Class 5 driver’s license (a valid Class 1 license would be considered an asset)
• Someone capable of working as part of a team
